NICK KOUWENBERG LEADER AGAIN OF THE EUROPEAN 250

26/06/2015

The battled 250 European championship, after the past weekend Germany's GP, saw the red plate back again on hands of the Korax rider Nick Kouwenberg (here on the left in the picture during the prizegiving).
The race however, was not one of the most lucky for the Honda Jtech rider that after the 4th place in the opening round, got involved in a crash at the start of the second heat with other riders. Started last, the Dutch rider, thanks to a strong move up, arrived to get a significant 7th position. As a result, he passed from second to first in the provisional standing of the championship.
Finally a good result also for Simone Furlotti (on the right in the photo), the Korax KTM Silver Action rider in fact closed the race in the top ten with a cheering 9th place, this thanks to a 12th and to a 10th position.
Stefano Pezzuto too, another Korax athlete racing for the Yamaha Italian Factory team was on track for this event. A 13th and a 17th are his results that mean good points for him in the championship. The Spanish rider Iker Larranaga racing for the Korax Jezyk Spain team was instead unfortunately not present as he had to undergo to a surgery at the knee.
Now the championship will continue the first and second weekend of July in Sweden and Latvia.
